Feasibility Analysis of Establishing Shanxi Open University

开放大学是山西教育转型跨越发展的主要支撑,因此,我们必须充分论证创建山西开放大学的可行性,从国家和地方政策层面探讨建设山西开放大学的方向和任务;从国内外开放大学的办学实践层面研究建设开放大学的思路和经验;从现代信息技术发展和山西成人高等教育发展的层面研究建设山西开放大学的条件。事实证明,山西广播电视大学30多年的办学经验积累为创建山西开放大学奠定了坚实的基础。

Open University is the major support of great-leap-forward development of Shanxi education.Therefore,we must fully prove the feasibility of establishing Shanxi Open University.This paper discusses the task and direction of establishing Shanxi Open University from the national and local policies,studies the thinking and experience of establishing Shanxi Open University from the practice of running Open University both at home and abroad,and researches the conditions of establishing Shanxi Open University from the development of modern information technology and Shanxi Adult and Higher Education.As it turned out,more than 30 years successful experiences accumulated by Shanxi TV University have laid a solid foundation for establishing Shanxi Open University.
