翻译研究中文化范式和语言学范式之间的不可通约性

库恩的不可通约性理论是审视翻译研究中的文化范式和语言学范式之间争论的一个新视角。文化范式的译论和语言学范式的译论是不可通约的,因为两种范式对翻译的标准和定义不同,对于研究问题的认识迥异,而且两种范式之间存在许多字面相同但含义迥异的语词和概念,两种范式的支持者具有不同的世界观。

The differences between cultural and linguistic paradigms in translation studies are studied from the perspective of incommensurability in science philosophy. The two paradigms are incommensurable because differences exist in the definition and standard of translation, and research questions of translation studies. Moreover, the two paradigms usually make use of the same concepts which have different meanings, and their supporters have different outlooks.
