季羡林的翻译观探究

An Exploration into Ji Xianlin's Views on Translation

季羡林不仅是学贯中西的东方学家,同时也是成就卓越的翻译家,但目前他的翻译思想尚未得到充分重视。本文探究了季羡林的翻译实践活动,总结了季羡林翻译观的五个主要方面。最后指出,季羡林的翻译观继承和发展了中国的传统译论,我们应该进一步深入研究他的翻译思想。

Ji Xianlin is an erudite scholar well versed in orientalism as well as a translator of great achievements.However,Ji Xianlin＇s thoughts on translation have been paid little attention.This paper conducts an exploration into his translation practice,and sums up his five main points of view on translation.In the end,it points out that Ji Xianlin＇s views on translation are the continuation and development of China＇s traditional translation theory and in-depth studies on his translation thoughts should be further conducted.
