Soldier's Home及其中译文之语用学探析

Comparative analysis of soldier's home and its Chinese translation:from the perspective of pragmatics

语用翻译学是建立在传统翻译学的困境和现代语用学的勃兴之上的。文章以Soldier's Home原文及其中译文为基础,选取相关书面语料,通过运用语用学研究基本概念——"意义"和"语境",分别从语言的各层次上进行对比分析。藉此阐述语用翻译学能够从一个新的角度解决翻译理论中的诸多矛盾,进而能在翻译过程中起到启示和指导作用。

Pragma-translatology is a new discipline built on the dilemma of traditional Translation Studies and the boom of Pragmatics.This paper selects some relative linguistic data from the original text and its Chinese translation of Soldier＇s Home respectively,and makes a brief analysis towards the data in terms of different linguistic levels.By applying the two basic concepts of pragmatic research——Meaning and Context,to the comparative analysis,the paper aims to illustrate that Pragma-translatology can offer a brand-new perspective to solve the contradictions existed in the translation theories,then play a significant role in the translation process.
