山东省威海市坚持妇幼卫生工作方针，以实施《母婴保健法》为龙头，以降低孕产妇死亡率，婴儿死亡率和出生缺陷发生率为目标，加强领导，把握关键，完善了六个方面的管理，加强了妇幼保健机构和专业队伍建设，使妇幼卫生工作水平不断提高。
