苏芸金杆菌血清型1中存在鞭毛抗原亚因子

PRESENCE OF FLAGELLAR ANTIGENIC SUBFACTORS IN SEROTYPE 1 OF BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS

近年来我们从四川、河北、吉林、云南、广西等地的土壤及死虫中分离到苏芸金杆菌百余株。用菌的鞭毛抗原与生化反应特性鉴定证明,大部分菌株属于 H3及 H4,其中仅一个菌株 G 具有较特异的血清型,它属于 H1,但与标准 H1不同。有关 G 菌株的研究结果报道如下。

The strain G was isolated from a deadarmyworm(Leucania separata Walker)incorn filds,at Hebei.It has the typical mor-phological characteristics of Bacills thuring-iensis.The serological analysis showed that theflagellar suspensions of the strain G wasagglutinated only by the antisera against theH1 antigen and not by the antisera againstthe other 22 known H-antigens.The ag-glutination titre was 1∶6,400.The flagellarsuspension of the serotype 1,subsp.thuring-iensis,was agglutinated by the antiserum ag-ainst the strain G,with a titre of 1∶12,800.However,the cross-saturation of antiserashowed that there were different fractions inthe H1 antigen.The H antiserum againstsubsp,thuringtensis still agglutinated withsubsp,thuringiensis,having a titre of 1∶6,400,even if it was fully saturated by strain G.When it was saturated by subsp,thuringiensisthe H antiserum of strain G did not agglu-tinate by himself.Therefore,the HI antigen(subsp.thuringiensis)must be divided intosubfactors Hlalb and strain G antigen is Hla.On the basis of this study,we proposethe strain G represents the serotype Hla underthe name of Bacillus thuringiensis subsp,he.beiensis.
