陆龟蒙受庄子影响甚深。他自号"江湖散人",具有强调随变化而变化的"物化"意味。而"天随子"的自号,亦是崇尚自然无为的标榜。"散"又显示陆氏"虚己"的生活美学和苟存性命于乱世的智慧。

LU Guimeng was deeply influenced by Zhuangzi.He called himself ＂Alternative World＇s Useless Person＂,placed great emphasis on ＂materialization＂,namely changing with the changes.He also called himself ＂Tiansuizi＂,which was an effort to display his advocacy of nature and ＂effortless effort＂.＂San＂ revealed his life aesthetics of ＂emptying himself＂ and the wisdom of sustaining his life in troubled times.
