摘要
高职高专的培养目标决定了其英语教学要具有鲜明的特色。借鉴需求分析理论,以广东某高职院校艺术专业学生为研究对象,通过问卷调查分析该院英语教学现状。由此提出引入专门用途英语(ESP)模式的设想并分析其可行性,并指出ESP教学有助于改善英语教学现状,提高教学效果,实现课程目标。
The training goals of higher vocational colleges may result in the striking features of their English teaching. Through the case study of art major students of a higher vocational college in Guangdong, this paper analyzes its current status of English teaching based on the need analysis theory and the questionnaire, and then proceeds to put forward some suggestion of applying ESP model to English teaching and explores the feasibility to improve the current teaching to realize the curriculum objectives.
