Anidulafungin is a new echinocandin antifungal agent.It not only acts by inhibiting the production of 1,3-β-D-glucan which is a key component in fungal cell wall synthesis and has selective toxicity to fungi,but also has potent activity against candida and aspergillus species,and has proved to be quite safe.To introduce the mechanism,antifungal activity,pharmacokinetics and clinical therapeutics of anidulafungin.
