In China＇s society,Buddhist ethics,Taoism and Confucianism are likened to ＂three gospels＂ rooted in the civil society,which merge into the theory for the ethics of animal protection.Before the rise of the animal liberation movement,Chinese people,under the influence of the three thoughts,show more mercy to animals than occidentals,hence making China steeped in history of 5000 years more civilized.
