The causes of adjective-noun nominalization can be classified into three types：emphasis of the interpersonal meaning,emphasis of the textual meaning of ＂thing＂,and emphasis of both the interpersonal and textual meaning of ＂thing＂.The classification of the three types of metaphorical forms has practical value in translation.
