西安在城市化的进程中,城市文化面临着巨大的创伤。树立古城西安的文化形象,需要从建筑与文学等交叉学科入手,即外修建筑,内修文学。外修建筑是指在生态美学的指引下,尊重历史与自然,保护与开发西安古建筑、园林,注重曲江的示范带动效应;内修文学是指从古典文学与现代文学作品中寻找旧城细节,使建筑成为有意味的形式,并通过文学影视等形式,加强对西安的宣传,使西安成为文化之都。所以要树立古城西安的文化形象,建筑文化与文学的寻根意识是可以合二为一的,这样才能使西安在全国乃至全世界获得最大程度的影响力。
