传统的民居是当地居民在千百年与自然的不断协调中发展和完善起来的,怎样正确看待历史为我们遗留的传统建筑?如何把握好城市和乡村发展过程中的保护与更新?本文阐述了民居建筑存在的意义、民居建筑保护观念的形成与发展、当前民居建筑保护中存在的问题以及传统民居保护原则和方法。

Traditional folk residences are developed from the continuous coordination by the local residents with the nature in hundreds of years. How should we correctly look at the traditional buildings left over to us by history？ How to grasp the protection and renewal in the development process of city and countryside？ This paper describes the meaning existing in folk buildings, the formation and development of folk building protection concept, problems existing in the present folk building protection as well as the principle and method in traditional folk residence.
