Comparison between Chinese Guild and Chamber of Commerce

目前,我国行业协会、商会发展迅速,但二者法律地位不明确,职能存在交叉,大大妨碍其功能的发挥。本文主要围绕行业协会与商会的关系展开分析,呼吁有关法律的出台,明确二者的法律地位,以求更好地发挥其职能,促进我国经济的发展与繁荣。

At present, more and more guilds and chambers of commerce emerge in China, but they are hampered to elaborate their functions owing to the unclear legal status and some overlapping functions between them. The purpose of the article is to appeal for a relevant law to explicit the legal status of guilds and chambers of commerce by analyzing the relations between the two so as to bring thcir functions into better play and boosting economic development and prosperity in China.
