耶律余睹事件考

A Textual Research about Yelü Yudu Event

耶律余睹事件是指发生在辽朝末期天祚皇帝保大元年(1121年),最高统治集团为争立储嗣而引发的文妃被害、晋王受牵、耶律余睹降金的事件。经考证,得里底(萧奉先)陷害,并非余睹要谋废辽主,事发地当在"军营"之中,驸马萧昱参与了余睹事件,余睹投降金后由于不得志最终又背叛了金,一度想要投靠夏,但又遭到拒绝,最终被杀而告终。

The event of Yelü Yudu refers to the series of incidents that took place in the year of 1121 at the end of the Liao Dynasty.The supreme ruling body struggled for the designation of an heir to the throne,and the result was that Concubine Wen was murdered,Jin Wang implicated and Yelü Yudu surrendered to the Jin Dynasty.Through a textual research,we find that it is Delidi（Xiao Fengxian） who made a false charge,and Yudu did not in fact attempt to overthrow Lord Liao.It must have occurred in the ＂military camp＂,and the son-in-law Xiao Yu involved in the event.After his surrender to the Jin Dynasty,Yudu eventually betrayed the Jin Dynasty because he could not achieve his ambition.He once wanted to seek refuge with the Xia Dynasty,but was rejected and killed as a result.
