皎然“作用”说考论

An Investgative View of Jiaoran's "zuoyong" Category

在皎然诗学中,"作用"是一个佛学意味极其浓郁的诗学概念。在佛典中两种基本用法:一是表示有为法诸相之间的因果联系,强调一种客观性;一是指佛性的外在显现,强调一种主观性。皎然是第一个将之引进诗学的诗论家,不仅以之论诗,还以之评诗,形成了较为系统的诗歌"作用"论。皎然引进这一概念并非是对佛典语义原封不动的照搬照用,而是结合自己的诗美理想赋予了它以新的内涵。

The concept ＂zuoyong＂ which stems from Buddhist philosoph has two meanings in Buddhism.One is a kind of principal and subsidiary causes.The another means that the Buddha-nature manifest itself.Jiaoran is the first poet who use the words to discuss and criticize poem,and take shape the systematic ＂zuoyong＂ thery.The category＇s connotationhad been changed in Jiaoran＇s poem theory.
