Characteristics & shortcomings of six popular calculations of pouring time have been described in details,which occuring in each recommended range as grey iron,s.g.iron etc has been analysed.General effective pouring time calculation for two grey iron castings and two s.g.iron castings(including as cast white cast irons and steel castings) have been worked on and described,which is suitable with wide range.
