For optimal coordination of hardness and toughness,intercritical heat treatment has been used for RE compound modified and multi elements microalloyed medium Mn steel castings.It has proved that RE modification can improve properties of corrosive and oxygen resistance of such material in pH5,pH7,pH10 aid or basic mud containing sand.Under the condition of wet wear,the service life of RE medium Mn steel castings by intercritical heat treated is obviously longer than that of high Mn steel.
