The communication network platform for electric power distribution of Olympics Games is introduced in the article. In the system, SICOM3024, the advanced industrial Ethernet product is employed and Kyland’s innovative industrial Ethernet fast redundancy protocols （DT-Ring and DT-Ring＋） are used to set up the complex and reliable communication platform. Meanwhile, Kyvision, the powerful management software is presented. Both high-performance system platform and powerful management software provide a basic guarantee for the Beijing Olympics Games.
