武汉市民对临终关怀知晓率和态度的调查

Investigation on the Knowledge and Attitude of Wuhan Citizens to Hospice

目的了解武汉市民对临终关怀的知晓率和态度。方法采用多级抽样方法进行问卷调查。结果共调查921人,其中男性468人,女性453人;经常听说"临终关怀"的人占13.6%,很少听说的占49.5%,从未听说的占36.9%;愿意接受临终关怀服务的占26.7%,表示需要认真考虑的占55.0%,不愿意的占8.3%。学历和年龄与对临终关怀的知晓率之间具有相关性。受调查者对临终关怀服务的期待主要为:尊重生命、减轻痛苦,对临终关怀服务的担忧主要为:收费过高、从业者素质低。结论武汉市民对临终关怀的知晓率总体不高,应加大宣传力度和深度,同时要提高从业者应具有的资质门槛,善于学习国外的先进理念,政府应支持临终关怀事业的发展,使收费保持在合适的水平。

Objective To assess the situation of Wuhan citizens in the knowledge and the attitude to hospice. Methods A questionnaire survey using Multi-stage sampling survey method was applied. Results Totally 921 responded,including 468 male and 453 female;13.6% of the citizens heard of hospice frequently,49.5% heard of hospice rarely and 36.9% never heard of;26.70% would like to accept hospice care,55.00% expressed that hospice should be thought over solemnly,8.30% showed unwillingness to hospice;there are differences among age,education and the awareness of hospice.Most responders expect that hospice can show respect for life and relieve patients.Many of them worried about the outlay of hospice and the service quality. Conclusion The degree of awareness of hospice is not high in Wuhan citizens.Much should be done to strengthen publicity,improve the practitioner＇s qualification and learn advanced concepts.The government is expected to support the development of hospice and reduce the expense.
