Hospitals are facing crises all the time in the fiercely competitive medical market.The authors hold that,in addition to strengthened normal hospital management,a deeper insight into the causes,types,control and management of hospital crises and a good command of basic strategies for hospital crisis management would greatly facilitate the development of the hospital.
