摘要
研究了添加0.1%~1.0%Ce(质量分数)对高纯Mg-3Al合金晶粒尺寸的影响。结果表明,随Ce添加量的增加合金晶粒逐步粗化,当Ce添加量达到1%时,晶粒尺寸可达到870μm。Ce加入后,大量的Ce与Al反应生成针状的Al11Ce3相,主要分布于枝晶间隙,无法作为形核核心,对Mg-3Al晶粒无细化作用。Ce与C的反应,导致Al-C核心形核能力的降低是晶粒粗化的主要原因。
The effect of Ce on the grain size of a high-purity Mg-3Al alloy was investigated.The results showed that the grain size of high-purity Mg-3Al alloys increases with increasing Ce addition.When the Ce content was 1%,the grain size reached 870 μm.The Ce reacted preferentially with Al to form Al11Ce3 phase,and it was considered that the Al11Ce3 phase could not act as nuclei because it was distributed mainly at inter dendritic region.The reaction between Al and C led to degradation of nucleation potency,which was the main cause of grain coarsening.
