摘要
分别采用CAMSIZER数字成像颗粒分析仪(简称CAMSIZER)、机械振动和手工筛分测试了聚乙烯(PE)粉料的粒径分布。采用机械振动筛分和手工筛分测得的PE粉料粒径分布数据波动较大,重复性较差;采用CAMSIZER测试PE粉料粒径分布,重复性较好;用CAMSIZER获得的粒径分布数据以体积分数表示,与机械振动筛分和手工筛分获得的以质量分数表示的粒径分布数据相比,存在较大差别,这与不同粒径颗粒空隙率不同及细粉的静电吸附有关。
Particle size distribution of polyethylene(PE) powder was tested by CAMSIZER digital imaging particle analyzer (abbreviated to CAMSIZER), mechanical vibration sieve and manual sieve, respectively. The particle size distribution data of the PE powder measured with mechanical vibration sieve or manual sieve showed great fluctuations and poor repeatability, while the corresponding data acquired by CAMSIZER exhibited good repeatability. The particle size distribution tested with CAMSIZER differed considerably from those tested with mechanical vibration sieve or manual sieve; the former expressed in volume percentage and the latter expressed in mass percentage. The discrepancy between them was related to the different void ratios among particles with various sizes as well as electrostatic adsorption of the fine powder.
