IMS is a standard architecture which based on IP transport and can smoothly make convergence of mobile network and fixed network. This paper introduces an identifier system,which is the base of realization of IMS functions, and summarizes design thoughts of the identifier system. It's helpful to deepen understanding of IMS system, and can be a reference to design of similar systems.
