Robert Wilson is a productive stage director and a remarkable theatrical artist.He has also worked as choreographer and video artist.Perhaps the collaboration that launched his career was his design and directorial debut in Philip Glass's Einstein on the Beach(1976). Mainstream opera houses and art festivals around the world have invited him to direct such classic works as Madama Butterfly,Pelleas et Melisande,the Ring cycle and Aida.
