沙特麦加轻轨主要服务于每年的朝觐客流。根据朝觐客流的特点,研究大运量轻轨交通方式,从车站分布、列车编组、折返线布置、开行方案、运营组织等方面进行分析,在车站中专门设置候车区,以缓冲强大客流产生的拥挤。
Mecca Light Rail in Saudi Arabia mainly serves the pilgrimage passenger flows each year.In terms of the chara-cteristics of the passenger flows,the paper studies the different transit modes for the light rail with large traffics,analyses asp-ects involving station distribution,train composition,turning-around line arrangement,operation schemes,operation orga-nization,etc.Special waiting areas are built on stations to ease the congestion caused by large passenger flows.
