语码转换研究的系统功能语言学视角

A Systemic Functional Perspective on Code-switching

尽管从20世纪五六十年代以来语码转换研究方兴未艾,但从系统功能语言学的角度来分析语码转换的研究并不多见。本文认为系统功能语言学同社会语言学、会话分析等一样应该成为语码转换研究的重要视角,并基于我国大陆中文报章中的汉英语码转换这一个案,指出系统功能语言学至少能为语码转换研究带来三个新的分析框架:语域变异框架、纯理功能框架、文化语境框架。

Despite of the plethora of literature on code-switching, few studies have been undertaken from a systemic functional approach. It is argued in this paper that Systemic Functional Linguistics offers as important a perspective to code-switching studies as other approaches, such as sociolinguistics, conversation analysis, psycholinguistics, and neurolinguistics. Three analytical frameworks （i.e. the registerial framework, the metafunctional framework, and the framework of context of eultur：e） that can be drawn from Systemic Functional Linguistics are also illustrated, with the case of the Chinese/English code-switching in the Chinese newspapers in the mainland of China as an example.
