Animal idioms are indispensible in every language culture in the world.Of course,English learners and users will encounter such kind of idioms.If they can understand the cultural connotation of these words and phrases,translate and use them correctly,they can improve their intercultural communicative competence.This essay classifies the English idioms from the point of view of translation,and explores appropriate translation methods for each kind.
