从认知语言学看翻译界定及逆向汉英语篇翻译策略

A Study of Translation Definition and Inverse Textual C-E Translation Strategy in Perspective of Cognitive Linguistics

翻译本质上是个人或多人基于体验认知、多重互动和概念整合机制,理解原文化语境中语篇的意义和功能,并将其理解据特定的翻译目的用目的语语篇表达出来的过程、程序、产品。逆向汉英翻译者须充分考虑两种语言在语篇连贯表现上的异同,预测英语读者解读译文时具备的认知世界知识,贯彻句法翻译法并在内容、结构、文体等层面上实施相关、一致的补偿,以建构基于原文连贯的译文语篇连贯性,使读者建构译者期待的译文语篇认知世界。

Translation is essentially the process,procedure or product of the translator＇s transforming the original textual mental coherence he has obtained by comprehending the original text to the textual world in the target language on the basis of his embodied cognition and multiple interactions and through the conceptual blending mechanism.In inverse C-E textual translation,the translator should fully consider the common ground and difference in linguistic forms for coherence representation between Chinese and English,predicate the cognitive world with which the English reader will interpret the English text,and apply the syntactic approach with relevant and consistent compensation on the substance,structure,and style levels in constructing adequate coherence in the target text,thus facilitating the English reader＇s construction of the cognitive world of the English text as the translator expects.
