摘要
隐喻不仅是一种修辞手段,更是人类思维的一种方式和文化反映。词汇作为语言中最活跃的因素,是传递文化信息的重要载体之一,另外词汇习得是英语学习的一个重要组成部分,在大学英语教学中占有重要的地位。然而大学生目前词汇习得普遍采用的是费时效低的死记硬背的方法。在研究概念隐喻理论的基础上提出了借助概念隐喻帮助大学生进行词汇习得,培养学生的隐喻能力,从而提高词汇习得的效率和质量。
Metaphor is not only the rhetoric method,but a way of thinking and the reflection of culture.Vocabulary,as the most active factor,is one of the carriers for spreading culture.On the other hand,lexical acquisition plays an important role in English acquisition and teaching.However,the method that university students used nowadays is far from perfect and the efficiency is quite low,they still use memorizing words by rote.So the author claims we should improve our students' efficiency of memorizing words with the help of metaphor.
