On the Division of Sentence in E-C Translation

在英汉翻译中,英语中较长的句子往往需要根据汉语的不同表达习惯译为汉语的多个句子,才能使译文做到准确、通顺、易懂。切分译法是一种调整句子结构的好方法,它可以将原文中不好处置的部分单独列出来,译为一个分句或句子,或者将原文中的从句单独列出来译为独立句,这样可以使译文更加符合汉语习惯,达到明白晓畅的效果。

In E-C translation,according to different Chinese expressions,long sentences in English should be translated into several Chinese sentences so as to make translation more accurate,smooth and explicit.The division is good method to adjust sentence structure,with which difficult parts can be separated and translated into one or several separated Chinese sentences.And then translation will accord with Chinese expression and be more brief and explicit.
