With a living intercultural communication case,the paper concludes that the failure of the communication results from the fact that the context culture between China and USA varies from each other,namely,China has developed a high context culture and America a low one.The paper analyzes the causes from the aspects of history and culture and forms a suggestion of communicative tactics with American.
