摘要
《红楼梦》中的各种粥体现了中国饮食文化的特色以。对于各种粥名,如何翻译才能达到理想的效果,使目的语国家的读者有效理解是译者必须慎重对待的。从目的论的角度探讨了杨宪益所译《红楼梦》中有关各种粥名的翻译,首先简单介绍了目的论,接着运用目的论分析了杨宪所译《红楼梦》中有关各种粥名的翻译,说明了杨先生的译文并没有达到最佳翻译效果。
Various kinds of Congee in Hongloumeng reflects the feture of Chinese dietary culture.How to translate the names of the congee to reach satisfactory effect and make the readers of the target language to understand well should win serious attention from the translators.This paper explores the translation of the names of the congee by Yang Xianyi from Skopos theory.At first,the paper makes a brief introduction of Skopos theory,then it applies Skopos theory to analyze the translation of various kinds of congee by Yang Xianyi,and explains the translation of Mr Yang does not get the best effect.
