On the Laborer Distribution of Song Dynasty in the Four Major Industries

宋代社会经济的迅速发展,为雇工的活跃创造了前所未有的历史性机遇,也为雇工大有作为提供了广阔的舞台。举凡城镇的生产、商业、生活服务和文化教育等各个行业,都有雇工身影的存在,并且较诸前代呈现出了许多新的时代特征。

Having obtained an unprecedented development, the Song Dynasty laborers, are widely distributed in professions and domains of the society. Based on the four major urban industries-manufacturing industry, commerce, service industry and culture and education, this paper analyzes the employment patterns in urban areas of that period.
