Termites monitoring -- trapping method is a expanded and developed IPM technique for termite control based on the termite trapping box technology. It is a better technique for termites control to mitigate environmental pollution by reducing chemical or other use of pesticides. This paper introduces the ap- plication principle, application situation and the development trends of monitoring--trapping methhod,so as to provide some advice for the research direction of IPM strategies fortermites control.
