论口译中的跨文化意识

在这个全球化时代,跨文化交际在普通大众中也日渐频繁。口译作为一种快速传递信息、促进交流的方式已经成为一种职业,并吸引光大学者的关注。本文旨在从跨文化交流的角度研究跨文化意识对于口译的重要性。口译者在口译时难免遇到跨文化交际障碍,一个优秀的口译者应该认识这些障碍,并增强自己的跨文化意识,这样才能从容应对,用适当的翻译策略传递语言背后的文化信息。

In this time of globalization,cross-cultural communication is popular among the ordinary masses. Oral interpretation as a means of transmitting messages promptly has become an accepted profession and attracted much interest from scholars. This paper attempts to explore the importance of cross-cultural awareness in oral interpretation from the perspective of cross-cultural communication. Cross-cultural communicative barriers are inevitable in interpreting,so a qualified interpreter should realize these barriers and strengthen his/her cross-cultural awareness to deal with these barriers and adopt proper translation strategies to convey the cultural elements behind the language.
