Effective Using of Multimedia in English Teaching

随着信息工业的发展、网络技术的不断进步,越来越多的高等学校开始探索在素质教育原则的指导下,利用多媒体技术与网络技术作为理想的认知工具进行高校外语教学改革。如何利用多媒体发展和传播英语文化知识,培养出新时代复合人才是大学英语教学面临的重大任务。本文通过对多媒体在大学英语互动教学中意义的分析,总结出如何在英语教学中有效的利用多媒体。

With the development of information industry and the continuous improvement of network techniques, more and more universities or colleges begin to reform the English teaching methods which regard the techniques of multimedia and network as ideal tools of cognition under the guidelines of competence-oriented education.How to use the multimedia to develop and deliver English cultural knowledge is the most important task in college English teaching and in bringing up new talents. This article begins with the analysis of the significance of multimedia in the interactive teaching of college English, then it concludes how to use multimedia effectively in English teaching.
