Formatting of Scientific and Technical Periodicals or Reader-oriented Standard

通过对30种科技期刊的调查分析,发现它们在正文排版格式(如三线表、句号的用法等)中存在一些问题,有些还是规范制定上存在的缺陷(如数学公式的转行规则等)。科技期刊既要考虑到同国际接轨,参照国际惯例,又要考虑到读者的阅读习惯及传统文化的影响,应确立以读者为本的理念。

With an investigation into 30 journals（Natural Science Edition） in higher educational institutions,this paper finds that some problems exist in the formatting of text,such as the misuse of three-line table and stop.And some problems are sacribed to the flaw in setting the standard,such as the rule of word wrapping of mathematical formula.Scientific and technical periodicals shall consider adapting to interna-tional practices by referring to international standards.At the same time,they shall take into account readers＇ reading habit and the influence of traditional culture,and shall establish reader-oriented concept.
