摘要
以认知诗学理论为视角,分析经典童话《爱丽丝镜中世界奇遇》里的逻辑荒谬和悖论。镜中世界里的一切都与现实世界相反,从事件的状态和运行方式到人物角色的思维、推理和语言表达,都与读者的现实世界知识、语言和认知图式相反;语言在推进奇幻故事的情节发展、操纵叙述话语、建构文本世界等方面发挥了重要的功能。认知诗学分析有助于我们深入理解镜中世界融语言艺术与逻辑艺术于一体的文学艺术。
From a cognitive poetics perspective,this paper analyzes the fictional presentation of logical absurdities and paradoxes in Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass(1872).Almost everything in the mirror world goes on or exists in ways opposite to those governing our real-world knowledge and normal reasoning,refreshing readers' schemata on all levels.Language plays crucial roles in developing plots of the story,manipulating narrative discourse,presenting an absurd fictional world and creating an abnormal text world.Such an analysis can possibly reveal more literary values in the text that combines verbal art and logical art.
