本文叙述了焦化废水生物脱氮的原理。焦化废水采用A／O生物法去除氨氮工艺，可使焦化废水处理排放的氨氮指标达到排放要求。

The principle of biological denitrification was introduced in this paper. The waste water from coke-oven plant could be treated to meet the discharge require-ment with this method.
