The newly developed technology for dimethyl sulphoxide production from dimethyl thioether with the catalysis of NO2 and the method of oxidation in emulsive liquid phase has been narrated in the article.The process gets: conversion rate of dimethyl sulfide≥95% ; yield of dimethyl sulphoxide≥95% ; dimethyl sulphoxide content in crude product≥590% .The technology so developed has die merits of simple in process.less in installation investment,safe in production,and low in pollution.
