Couples Therapy:An Independent Mode of Psychotherapy

夫妻治疗正在作为一种独立的心理治疗模式兴起。在心理层面,夫妻关系的实质是持续的亲密性,夫妻关系问题的实质是连锁的神经症。当夫妻两人的分化程度都较低,关系中又有焦虑因素出现时,夫妻关系的压力就会上升,双方的互动就会在一种非理性的情绪性行为中反复,无力解决时,就会出现连锁的神经症。夫妻关系的现实与他们内在的心理表述一样重要。夫妻治疗应从夫妻互动入手,分析夫妻关系的影响因素,对夫妻关系做出调整,重建夫妻动力系统,帮助其达致新的平衡。

Couples therapy is being recognized as a mode of psychotherapy in its own right. Psychologically speaking, the essence of marital relationship lies in the intimacy between the husband and wife and thus the crux of the problem of marital relationship is the chain of neurosis. When the husband and wife are highly dependent emotionally and the causes of anxiety appear, the marital relationship will be under greater pressure, which will lead to repeated irrational interactions between the couple. If this remains unresolved, the chain of neurosis will inevitably arise. The reality of the relationship between the husband and wife is as important as their inner psychological statements. Starting from the interaction between the husband and wife, couples therapy analyzes the factors affecting the marital relationship and then adjusts it accordingly so as to reconstruct the marital dynamics and help the marital relationship achieve a new balance.
