从脓汁中分离出沙雷氏菌

TWO STRAINS OF SERRATIA ISOLATED FROM ABSCESS

从2例患者的脓汁中分离出2株沙雷氏菌。经生化反应鉴定,其中1株为粘质沙雷氏菌;另一株未能定种,其原因是做的生化反应尚不很全面,另一原因是目前国际上对此属各个种的描述尚不详细,也可能是此株沙雷氏菌是过去未报道的新种。

Two strains of serratia have been isolated from abscesses in two patients. One of the strains was identified as Serratia marcescens. The other strain was also identified as serratia but couldn't be classified to any of the six species of the genus. There were three possible reasons relative to this situation: first, the descriptions of the strain by us were not very perfect; secondly, the phenotypic characteristics of species descriptions of the genus at present were not sufficient and perfect; third, more probably, the strain was a new species. Until still more informations are accunulated and more homogenous strain are isolated, we don't suggest the strain as a new species. However, the descriptions of the strain would be helpful to the classificatory work of genus Serratia.
