The paper analyzes the reason and course of self-ignition of coker gasoline tank,describes the general theory of self-ignition phenominon,puts forward the countermeasures against the self-ignition of gasoline tank,including filling hydrogen upwards the space oi pontoon roof to decrease the oxygen content,and adopting thermal spray zinc-aluminum coating to prevent the tank body from reacting with oxygen and H2S to protect the coker gasoline tank from self-ignition.
