The Trade Cooperation between ASEAN-GCC and Implications for China

东盟与海合会之间从早期的零散经济接触发展到以"粮食换石油"为核心、多类商品贸易为基础的深入的经贸合作模式;东盟和海合会内部分别建立了自由贸易区和共同市场,建立东盟—海合会自贸区开始成为共识;东盟与海合会之间的制度建设取得重大进展。所有这些对于进一步保障东盟和海合会的安全利益有着切实意义,东盟—海合会经贸合作模式对于中国与阿拉伯国家经贸合作有类似的借鉴作用。

ASEAN and GCC shared the deep multi-commodity trade-based trade cooperation with the ＂food for oil＂ as the core content.The two sides established free trade area and common markets respectively,and the establishment of ASEAN-GCC FTA become their consensus.Besides,there also has been significant progress in their institution building.All of those have a real positive meaning to further protect security interests of the two.The ASEAN-GCC trade cooperation characteristics and model is of great importance for Sino-Arab trade relations.
