摘要
针对工业测量、卫星遥感等许多领域里都需要存储与传输高保真的图像这一应用背景,提出一种新的算法,该算法采用了一种向量变换,这种向量变换满足针对向量量化的信号处理过程的最优属性.该算法还采用了多套多层结构的码书和动态位分配的向量量化技术.利用该算法较好地提高了高保真的有损图像压缩的压缩比.实验表明,该压缩算法具有较高的、较稳定的压缩比率,较强的鲁棒性和较高的信噪比.
In many fields, such as industry measuring and satellite remote sensing, it is necessary to store and transport high fidelity images. This paper advances a new algorithm, where a vector transform, which meets the optimal attributes of signal processing for vector quantization, is adopted. In addition, several sets of multi layered codebooks and the quantization technique with dynamic bit allocation are adopted. The compression ratio of high fidelity image compression is raised well by this algorithm. It is shown in the experiment that the algorithm has higher and more stable compression ratio, stronger robustness and higher signal to noise ratio than usual.
