机读目录环境下改进种次号的探讨

书次号主要有顺序号、著者号、种次号三种,目前尚未统一。在机读目录环境下,当前我国图书馆种次号的利用率在书次号中占主导地位。从书次号的概念和作用入手,依次介绍种次号的概念,特点,使用的意义以及存在的一些问题,针对同种书出刊时间不同采取的种次号不同,就其原理进行了浅谈。同时探讨了在机读目录环境下如何改进种次号的一系列方法。
