Waste-heat boiler is often used to recover some of the heat carried in the exhaust gases from the main engines in motor ships.Waste-heat boiler is the essential equipment in the operation ships.The vapour supply the fuel oil,lube oil,the deck and daily water to heat and fight fire,supply air condition to keep warm and kitchen to cook,etc.If exhaust gas boiler appear to breakdown,the light,there would a serious steam shortage;then heavy it can＇t be used.So,that would affect directly the operation of main engine,affect the sailing schedule subsequently,even affect ship safety.Many reasones may be cause exhaust gas boiler to breakdown,such as the feed water and water level of management,the smoke side of management,etc.Through analysing a typical breakdown in this text,explore to the reason of waste-heat boiler breakdown about disappropriate soot-blow,and try to look for some good methodes to blow away soot,expect to provide a certain reference for waste-heat boile governor.
