Films on Yunnan ethnic minority have been through the hardships and glory of the fifty years.It has changed greatly in both movie construction shape and the film industry.The factors influence Yunnan minority films are the political background,the expression of ethnic minority culture and Yunnan film industry and so on.During the period of 1949～2009,Yunnan minority films development can be divided into three periods: beginning period,exploration period,and innovation period.
