植物状态(VS)是神经科较常见的一种临床综合征,多年来其诊断标准一直采用临床表现作为指标,所以误诊率较高,其涉及的伦理学问题也日渐突出。现总结VS的概念、临床特征、诊断标准及近年来神经生理检查与功能性脑影像学检查在诊断中的应用,对VS的诊断具有重要意义。

Vegetative state is a common kind of clinical syndromes in neurological department. For the past many years, the diagnostic criteria of vegetative state are always depended on clinical manifestation which leads to a high misdiagnosis rate, therefore, the ethical problems involved are obvious gradually. This article summarizes the conception, clinical characteristics,diagnostic criteria, and the use of neurophysiological investigations and functional neuroimaging to help to diagnose.
